Kurzausflug Hampi - short trip Hampi

Nele und ich hatten schon unser erstes langes Wochenende und haben dieses auch gleich genutzt. Auf gings nach Hampi. Hampi ist eine relativ kleine Stadt im Bundesstaat Karnataka. Sie ist sehr vom Tourismus geprägt, wodurch im Stadtbild unzählige Pensionen zu finden sind. Aber die Umgebung Hampis ist einfach atemberaubend schön. Berge und alte Ruinen wohin das Auge reicht. Wir haben uns dann auch gleich eine Rikscha geschnappt und haben die Ruinen (manche echt gut erhalten) von Tempeln und Märkten besichtigt. Sie sind sehr alt und man hat schon fast ein ehrfürchtiges Gefühl in der Brust wenn man an ihnen vorbei geht. Die Atmosphäre in Hampi ist super entspannt und man kann beim herunterschauen auf die Umgebung Hampis schnell Raum und Zeit vergessen. Im Virupaschka (hoffentlich richtig geschrieben) Tempel bekamen wir sogar einen echten Tempelelefanten zu Gesicht, welcher die Göttin Lakschmi darstellen soll. Total nervig war aber, dass wir keinen Schritt machen konnten ohne von Rikscha Fahrern angesprochen zu werden. Durch diesen Kurztrip ist mir bewusst geword3n wie sehr mir die Kinder in der Schule und meine Gastmutter mir schon ans Herz gewachsen sind, da ich sie in Hampi irgendwie vermisst habe. Durch diese Erkenntnis gelingt es mir hoffentlich schnell mich voll und ganz ein zu leben.

Nele and I had our first long weekend which we already used to go to Hampi.Hampi is a small city in the state Karnataka. Hampi counts on tourism which is why you can find many guesthouses and restaurants. The surrounding of Hampi is breath taking. Mountains and ruins wherever you look.We visited many of the ruins of markets and temples.The are very old and give the feeling of a very old power when you pass by. The atmosphere in Hampi is very chilledand when you look down of one of the hills you will forget everything around.At the Virupaschka (hopefully spelled right) temple we got to see the temple elephant which is supposed to show the god Lakschmi. I really hate that everybody tried to convince us of taking a Rikscha wherever we were going. Because of the trip I realised how much I like the children of the school and my host mum till now, I even missed them. I hope this idea helps me to integrate completely.
